We can certainly live without the following items, but its fun to compile some baby goodies I enjoy in a list!
1. California Baby Brand products. For Van, I was all about the Baby Bees, but this stuff smells so good...
2. Muslin sleep slacks-- Jeanie loves them and looks so snuggly.
3. A unique light fixture. This one is via G-Diddy and I love it. It really completes her room!
4. A double video monitor. I will not reveal how long Evans and I watch our children sleeping at night. Its so peaceful and addicting! The monitor spends 8 seconds on each child back and forth.
5. Ella's Kitchen pouches. Jeanie sucks these down faster than I can set the table. I was all about some home-made food for Van, but these are just too convenient.
6. A double stroller. This is much more comfortable and compact than I expected.
7. Pretty silver baby utensils. These are via Granny Rhombus for Jeanie's baptism (and monogrammed--so sweet!). I kept Van's spoon on display :) but decided to put these to use immediately. The spoon is a nice teether as well!
8. A petite hand pump. The most helpful advice I recieved the second go-roud of breastfeeding was to only "pump for comfort." If exclusively breastfeeding and producing too much milk, its much easier to pump out an ounce or two for comfort versus an entire bottle. It helps to regulate milk production and become more in-synch with the baby (and isn't quite as scary as the large electronic pump).
9. A Diaper Champ. (Not the Genie!) Sarah and Ned recommended this one and the best part is--you can use any type of trash bag. Not just the $500 diaper genie brand bags. :) A huge cost saver.
10. Nomie Baby quilted carseat cover. Easy to reuse a boy-colored carseat for a gal!
Last but not least--- cute bloomers and shoes! Look at those jelly rolls. I want to squeeze.
Peace

It's so interesting how much more relaxed moms are the second go-round. I like your tips even though my kids are dogs.
