Double the kiddos, double the bath time excitement...
This may be the most entertaining part of our day :)
Van is very eager to show Jeanie how the bath tub works. He is also voraciously consuming any ABC's trivia, songs, posters, and books. He is even attempting to say his ABC's backwards (quite a challenge!)
The other night, well past bedtime, we heard a soft little voice emanating from the monitor. Evans turned it up and it was sweet little Van singing "Jingle Bells" ... his favorite song at the moment :) His new shoes are frighteningly approaching the size of my shoes!
Baby Jeans is quite the opposite from Van in many ways. I wouldn't exactly describe her voice as "soft" nor would I describe her as mellow... (unless mom and dad are nearby!). She survived mom's first night away from home, but I am pretty sure I saw a nice big smile when I came home the next day.
This past weekend I went to Nashville to celebrate Jamie's upcoming nuptials!! We had a blast! Luckily fellow nursing mom was in attendence and we were able to entertain remind each other to pump!
Jeanie is eating three meals a day, wiggling all over the place, and adoring her brother's entertainment. I am doing my best to enjoy these last 2 weeks at home with both babies before Van starts back to school. We have some fun trips and activities coming up! Wish us luck.
