Yikes. I have learned more than I may ever need to know about them over the past few days. Let's just say there is a honey bee shortage in North Carolina and the bee keeper called us "lucky"...
I tried to capture the thousands of bees swarming Evans in this photo, but they did not show up in the light! Apparently when swarming, the bees are too full of honey to sting. We thought this was going to be a really neat-looking picture. What a let down! Sorry Evans.
Baby Jeanie has been sporting some rough congestion the past few days so we took her to the doctor, who basically prescribed a "don't worry, be happy" sort of attitude. She took his instructions to heart:
