I have found myself clinging to these "early days" with Jean-Margaret and trying desperately to reflect and recapture each precious little first that I can, but life has stayed so busy-- its difficult to remember everything!
We've had a few break throughs this week--some longer sleep stretches at night (woohoo!), more delightful family outings, outdoor playdates, dance parties, and a terrific mommy + daddy date night. We have been blessed with some of the best weather you can ask for with a newborn. Being outdoors makes everyone feel better!
The only thing I have figured out about baby Jeans is that she is hard to figure out and very alert. Just when you think you have her asleep in your arms, she'll open one eye into a squint to let you know she's still awake and you better not put her down yet!
I try to make a commitment to myself and the blog to use good-quality SLR photos, but I am extremely grateful for (and reliant on) my cell phone camera. Although blurry--sometimes its the most convenient for quick memorable shots. Here are a few of my recent favorites!
