Van took one look at my pumpkin and said "Its okay mama..." and patted me on the back.

It was pouring down rain on this halloween, but luckily we made it to our church's costume parade over the weekend where we downed pancakes, waffles, and circled the gym to the tunes of "Thriller" and "Ghostbusters."

There were so many cute costumes! The parade opened in prayer--everyone was reasonably quiet with heads bowed when Van happened to notice a furry little Elmo trot across the gym and shouted "ELMO!! MAMA LOOK...ELMO!!! SEE IT?"

So lovely.
