I don't have much time but what I lack in time-- I make up for in pictures!! In the past 2 weeks, we have been busy busy learning, been on two beach trips, visited with Auntie Snags and her family, and spent lots of time with great friends. Abe will be 6 months old in 2 weeks. I love what we've got going on here but there is always so much going on!
We did a lesson on how to use an umbrella! We played in puddles, stenciled umbrellas, and practiced the letter "U" |
Van taught us about different sizes of raindrops (using cups with different sized holes in the bottom) and we used wax paper to draw raindrops on top of our spring pictures...(when you lift the wax paper, the 'rain' goes away...we learned the song "rain rain go away..."). |
We learned about Easter, made bunny ears and did their version of the bunny hop, made chick puppets, cotton ball bunnies, and baked Easter cookies...focusing on the letter "C" (we all bit a big bite out of our cookies to make a letter "C" like cookie monster :)...C is for cookie...) |
Other spring festivities include, dining outside, attending Van's tee ball practices, growing seedlings, playing outdoors (finally!)

Trying to sit up! |

Couldn't resist |
First beach trip: The Forks so kindly offered to let us use their beach place. We had so much fun on the beach and catching up with great friends: Sydney, Suggs, and Sarah Beth! (And meeting baby Chandler!)
only one night... still involves lots of packing for this crew |
Beach trip number two: G-Mommy stayed with Abram and Evans had to go back to work. I drove Van and Jean-Margaret to Beaufort to meet up with Auntie Snags, Uncle Bo, Fray, Zeph, Granny Rhombus, and Pop Pop. So. Much. Fun.
Granny Rhombus organized an Easter egg hunt and a surprise birthday party for Fray. |
Sharing a room with these guys was fairly sleepless, but made for a fun morning :) |
They really did have fun... |
And that brings us to dear Abram's 5 month photo shoot. We sure did miss him and daddy on our trip:
